1.1 Install the Adafruit MotorHAT Library

1.1.0 Install the python installer

$ sudo apt-get install python-pip

1.1.1 Install the Motor Hat library

 $ pip install Adafruit-MotorHAT

1.1.2 Allow the current user access to the I2C bus

 $ sudo usermod -aG i2c $USER

1.1.3 Reboot the system for changes to take affect

 $ reboot
